– Aluminum Crown – Of Montreal – Another piece of droney psychedelia that reaches nowhere as it changes tempo and sound at the midway point like the Only Ones but not really vocals , and reaches its end not fast enough. “I’ve been hurt by trouble tree”? – C-

– It AIn’t Safe – Skepta – grime banger from last year getting a second life via Kanye West’s interest – B

– Cavity Creeps – Gateway Drugs – Pretty lo-high drug song with a cool guitar solo near end – B+

– Canseecando – M.I.A. – Always a pleasure, but while this catchy self-help on politricks track breaks no new ground – B+

– Say Goodbye – Texas – Gorgeous soul track – A-

– Solitary Thinkin’ – Lee Ann Womack – Great singer song – A

– I Can’t Stand The Rain – Paul Rodgers – Superb rendition of a classic – A-

– In The Heat Of The Moment – Noel Gallagher – If he doesn’t have all the powers of his heyday, he has sme of them. Some of the songwriting gift and none of the singing – B

– Last Rites – Swervedriver – Great band, not bad sound – B

– We All Want The Same Thing – Rixton – Not all falsettos are nice, this is irritating, though the song is catchy – C+
