Air + Style is happening downtown LA at Exposition Park on March 3-4, and as usual, the festival will combine music, snowboarding, skiing, skateboarding, and art.

Two-time Olympic gold medalist snowboarder and skateboarder Shaun White is hosting the two-day event, which originated 21 years ago in Innsbruck, Austria as a snowboarding competition. However, it has since grown to a much more global celebration with music and sport and an eclectic lineup, creating a totally unique festival experience.

During the weekend, you will be able to see musical acts as diverse as Phoenix, Zedd with special guest Gucci Mane, Cashmere Cat, Cut Copy, DRAM, GRiZ, Mura Masa, Phantogram, Tinashe, Washed Out, A.CHAL, Cloud Nothings, Cut Snake, Haerts, Lophiile, Mija, Twin Peaks, Wet, Badbadnotgood, Ex-Cult, Surfbort, The Birth Defects, together Pangea.

Meanwhile, in collaboration with Big Bear Mountain Resort, this year’s snowboard offering will feature the world’s best snowboarders competing on a rideable snow covered street scene, while the Swatch Best Trick contest will feature live musical performances on the course to fuel the sessions! Here is a list of the athletes you will be able to see in action: Halldor Helgason (one of the biggest names in snowboarding), Ozzy Henning (with his Skate influenced style), Dylan Alito (one of the top names in urban snowboarding), Zak Hale, Frank Bourgeois, Anto Chamberland, Dylan Thompson, Francis Jobin, Darcy Sharpe, Brandon Davis and Kyle Mack (who compete in this month’s Winter Olympics on the US National Team), Nate Haust and Drayden Gardner.

These highly accomplished athletes are the top competitors in snow, and if I am going to the festival for the music lineup, experiencing sports and music at the same time, in a very unique location, next to the LA Coliseum which hosted the Olympic Games in 1984, has to be a very original experience.

Tickets for Air + Style are on sale here, starting at $79 for a single day, $139 for a 2-day General Admission, and $239 for a 2-day VIP.
