Guns N’ Roses

Are you ready for a Guns N’ Roses reunion? Ready or not it seems that this is happening. According to Loudwire, Susan Holmes, Duff McKagan’s wife, was interviewed with her friend Brandi Glanville (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ) before a Benefit Concert for Cancer. featuring Dave Navarro, Juliette Lewis, Duff McKagan, Bill Burr, Billy Idol, and Kesha, and Brandi screamed at one point, ‘Guns N’ Roses is coming back, motherfuckers!’, which got an approval by Holmes.

There have been many rumors about Slash and Axl Rose getting along together again, whereas drummer Steven Adler, Scott Weiland and bassist Tommy Black and Tommy Black all spoke recently about hearing rumors a reunion was going to happen. To fuel the rumor, Guns N’ Roses have been tweeting a few not-so-cryptic messages lately, such as ‘What ever happened to no news is good news?’ … ‘If only they could read lips…’… ‘Surely they’ll read between the lines’

A few blogs like Alternative Nation and Dish Nation even report that a tour will be announced soon, and although they all may have the same source, they seem very certain: ‘Promoters are quietly working away to land opportunities. Details of the reunion are expected to leak out in the next few days. Everyone is expecting huge demand for tickets, but the boys are very humble and are not sure what to expect.’

Slash seemed to go in the same direction as he said in an interview with CBS, ‘There’s no animosity. Over time we all just got sick and tired of the black cloud,’… ‘The biggest thing that happens when you have a breakup that is less than harmonious, you build up a bad energy because of the distance. The bad feelings get exaggerated.’

So should I dust off this Guns N’ Roses t-shirt I bought in a thrift shop? Are they cool again? And if they really announce a tour in the following weeks, will I buy a ticket to see them? It depends, I have never seen them live so it’s not gonna be nostalgia but at the same time, do I want to see a fat Axl Rose arriving two hours late on stage? Do we have the energy for this?
