The All American Rejects, who I'd thought fallen off the planet, released a new music video for their song "Beekeeper's Daughter".
I'm totally not sure how I feel about it.
On one hand I think it's kind of annoying and mainstream and I'm not sure how I feel about Tyson Ritter's voice because it's changed. Parts of it feel overdone, and the video is stupid. Some of the lyrics are pretty dumb too, and don't make much sense. The band's changed so much and I don't know how to react. It's such a drastic change, and I'm not sure whether I despise it or absolutely love it.
On the other hand, I think Tyson's voice is pretty great, and the guitarist has most certainly improved. It doesn't sound like anything else they've ever done, and the band is more in synch and tight than ever. It's totally a step up for the band if they want to gain a ton more fans, and since it's kind of a comeback song, I can most certainly hear it being on the radio, and becoming really popular.
