Bob Dylan Releases His rarest Album Ever

You have probably read this story by now but it bears repeating. Dylan released 100 copies of never before released material in Europe this week. Why? Because in Europe there is a "Use it or lose it law" that states if you own recorded music and haven't released it within 50 years, you never will release it and so it becomes public property.

But Dylan has all his old stuff that he is warehousing for his Bootleg Series and isn't ready to release it yet so the way he has gotten around keeping his copy rights and not releasing stuff he's not ready to is by having done a tiny run of albums, distributing them to indie stores in Europe, selling it as a digital run in Europe and  and then dropping it.

Copies are trading hands for a coupla K a pop on Ebay and I am sure is available for illegal downloading as we speak.
