I watched Death Cab For Cutie's new music video for their single "Underneath the Sycamore" and I am thoroughly impressed.

The song is really nice.  Ben's voice has kept the same warm quality, however it's matured in a way that makes me like it even more.  He has the perfect voice for this song; it really shows off his talent.  The instruments are tight and dynamic, which makes them really interesting to listen to.  The sounds really linger and melt into one tone which is beautiful.  The tune is gentle and calm, however it still leaves an impression and is captivating.  It has a dreamy feel that I can't get enough of it.

As for the video, it's very sad.  It tells the depressing tale of a man who finds out that not only is the woman he's in love with is with another man, but she also commits suicide by falling off of a building.  It's in almost a comic book-esque and very unique drawing style which really caught my eye and kept me watching.  I couldn't get enough of the characters and how the entire thing was drawn.  It really makes it stand out from other music videos I've seen.  I love it.

Death Cab definitely knew what they were doing.  The single's great, the video is perfect.
