Ed Sheeran Ripped Off At The Brit Awards.

I loved the Stormzy album and for sure, but in 2017 Ed Sheeran dominated every single aspect of British pop music, from the day it was was released till last night, it dominated every Brit -and most International, pop charts. At one point it held nine out of the ten top ten slots on the UK singles chart and it is on the album charts top ten to this day. If the Brit Awards don’t see how important Ed was to the industry and reward him for what was a sincerely excellent album, they certainly should have known better. The problem was, they awarded him big time in 2015 WHEN HE DIDN’T DESERVE IT. That left them scrambling last night.

I don’t quite get this antipathy to Sheeran. He is gonna go down as one of the greats, that’s all.

Also, while Stormzy was great, Dua Lipa certainly was nothing of the sort. If we have giving awards for greatness, where is Kate Tempest? There is no one like her in the business, she is the best UK rapper of either sex, and a truely rebellious (she was also very sweet when I met here).
