This Feeling – Abby Anderson – Pop country, less drums more synths – B-

Say A’ –  Boogie Wit A Hood – Terrific hook, no wonder he named his hook after it, somewhere between rap and r&B – B

Champion – Barns Courtney – Blah blues rocker from hyped up and comer – C

Por Hacerme El Bueno – Bacilos – Latin pop, nice guitar – C+

Hi Bich – Bhad Bhabie – The cash me ousside  girl, just fourteen years of old, but she looks older and she has a certain, I wouldn’t necessarily call it charisma, she keeps your attention. Catchy and dumb ass, snotty nosed kid stuff, but I wonder who is behind it? – B+

Whatchu Know – Bhad Bhabie – Big time bland out, keep to “Hi Bich” – C

Pescaito – Carlos Vives – The Columbian superstar lost his dashing good looks but this is a lively pop track when what we’re used to is ballads – B-

Nothing Better – Chris Lake, Chris Lorenzo – Old school house bounce – B-

…Ready For It – Cimorelli – Quite why they are covering a Taylor song that already stiffed is beyond me, though they bring out the Jay Z 2014 in it – B-

Colima – Stanton Warriors – Underground house plus jazzy horns – C+

Run It Up – Dame D.O.L.L.A., Lil Wayne –  Damian Lillard of the Portland Trailblazers gets a huge assist from Weezy on this old fashioned rap nothing – C

Changes – Dej Loaf – the second song this week with an intro that sounds like Jay Z, first rate rap by Dej doesn’t even vaguely waste it, after a coupla iffy tracks earlier this year, this one is excellent – SINGLE OF THE WEEK – A-

Sexy Dirty Love -Demi Lovato – Doesn’t live up to its name but it sure circles the parameters on this fine slice of pop – B+

Moments Passed – Dermot Kennedy – What is it with these Irish ballad singers?  -relax killer, you’ll find someone else – C

A Different Way – DJ Snake, Lauv – He should get back with Lil Jon for both their sakes – C+

Baltimore Cease Fire – Von Varga, Greenspan, Josh lay, Smallz, TT The Artist, Blaqstar, Ill Conscious,Femi The Drifish, Preme, Martina Lynch, The Boy Blesst – “Organizers and supporters of a 72-hour Baltimore “ceasefire” initiative marched and prayed Saturday, even as they acknowledged that their fervent pleas for peace could not halt the relentless pace of shootings and killings in Baltimore.” This is the soundtrack by the gifted Von Varga – B+

Power – Hardwell, KSHMR – Dutch House, a little on the tinny side – C

Beg – Jack & Jack – Rap pop boy band duo – C

Ohio – Jon Batiste, Leon Bridges, Gary Clark Jr. – Not bad cover of the agitprop wonder performed as Americana-Jazz fusion – B

Truth Hurts – Lizzo – The big girl rap pop woman can do no wrong, though this comes near – B-

KILL4ME – Marilyn Manson – The most despised guy in pop with another mongrel – C

Greatest Hallelujah – Matt Redman – How meaningful – D+

Remember U – Melanie Fiona – A year after giving birth to a baby boy, we are stuck with this abortion – MUST TO AVOID – D

Week Without You – Miley Cyrus – I can’t take her voice, and less so on sincere pop ballads like this one – C

Again – Noah Cyrus, XXXtentacion – Well, it’s better than big sister – B-

Fever –Nora En Pure – Deep house with hard beats – B-

Generous – Olivia Holt – Disney girl makes good on strong pop outing – B+

White Noise – Post Monroe – Post-modern country gals – B

Bluebirds Over The Mountain – Robert Plant – The terrific Ersel Hickey’s hit gets a terrific workout by Plant and Chrissie Hynde who is well beyond sexy on her verse – A-

Maybe – Russ – Very irritating yet catchy soundclouder rap performance – C+

Get Drunk And Cry – Ruthie Collins – Lovely old school country, somebody just wrote that the difference between old and new country is the difference between getting drunk and crying and getting drunk and partying – B+

Hombre – Sammie Sanchez – The 19-year-old Mexican-American singer absolutely kills it on this Latin dance track – B+

Only Want U – Snails, NGHTMRE, Akylla – Snails does dubstep, NGHTMRE does trance, add em together and you get hard bouncing bass to melody lones – B-

Stylin – Skooly, Young Thug – Two Atlanta rappers, not married to trap, trade verses – B-

Queens Of The Breakers – The Barr Brothers – American folk plus harp – C+

Fallen Leaves – The Deep Dark Woods – Canadian baritone adds Americana to gothic horror songs – C

Don’t Dream It’s Over – The Head And The Heart – Average classic rocker taken very seriously – C

Takin A Ride (Live At Maxwells) – The Replacements – Ramalamadingdong, guess you had to be there – C+

Dawsin’s Breek (feat Jerimih) – Ty Dolla $ign – This is umusual, a nursery rhyme added to the usual neo-soul plus rap – B-

One Foot – Walk The Moon – The “Shut Up And dance” should get a second hit on this catchy sweet nothing – B
