Love Is Stronger Than Pride – Amber Mark – Excellent and very pure cover of the Sade song, a glorious piece of heaven and love

Dontmakemefallinlove – Cuco –  Very catchy hip-hop-y, youthful rappy fun song, like a teenage daydream of almost love.

Hurrah – Iceage – More post punk than anything, this is a powerful wall of guitars child of punk stuck on its side, it is a terrific raver that comes across like a JAMC without the feedback.

Good Kisser – Lake Street Dive – First off, I am not really a fan, and second off they were not very good when I saw em last year, and third of all the new album is pretty good and fifth of all this song is very very great song… written by Bridgette Kinney and sung by Rachael Price is it that sweet spot between country and soul, and the hook is killer and beyond, a break up song, “if you’re gonna tell them everything, tell them I’m a good kisser”.

Drive – Perera Elsewhere – The Brit DJ seems to be mining an electronic subduedness that has been morphing into neo-R&B here, it seems filtering into a place where Solange and SZA exist, but it isn’t quite the same. This trance of a dream of a song takes you deep into the recesses of your brain.

Bedtime Stories (feat. The Weeknd) – From SR3MM – Rae Sremmurd – The Weeknd is gonna improve on just about anything you want to invite him to perform which is why this song, on the epic new Rae Sremmurd album, and his presence makes the all of a piece tracks offer a  stand out.  Abel just kills the choruses

Thinking Out Loud – The Temptations – Yes, the Ed Sheeran song, and the Temptations perform a soft and strong take on the great song. Ed should get them for his next “Perfect”
