Death: Lil Peep died from a Xanax OD (rumor has it mixed with Fentanyl) two days ago at the age of 21. The Long Island boy who tattooed “Cry Baby” over  his right eye in honor of his teacher mother all but invented emo rap, which sounds like Baby Trap meets emo, was a huge talent (we wrote about him here a number of time). His songs were a suturing of sex and drugs rap ala Drake to bedsitland teen angst. At its best, his “White Wine,” “Benz Truck (Remix),” and “Avoid” should work as a primer, emo rap was the sound of 2017 confusion.

Drugs: I am hardly the sort of person to recommend you don’t dabble in drugs even while the risk of death is a self evident truth. The one absolute truth about being a teenager is that it is risky, chances are you’ll be fine. Chances are.

Concerts: Bob Dylan on Friday, Jay-Z on Sunday!!! Then: Liam Gallagher, Garth Brooks, and MORRISSEY!!

New Music: “They say gangsters don’t pray—I beg to differ…” The new Cyhi The Prynce is excellent, the new  Luis Fonsi-Demi Lovato single is excellent. The new Sharon Jones is excellent. However, the new Taylor Swift is wearing off me.

Latin Pop: Has been spinning its wheels this decade but Latin Trap has given it one shot, and Latin meets hip hop superstars has given it another.

Latin Grammys: Luis Fonsi won it all but Ruben Blades got album of year for the excellent Salsa Big Band which is exactly what it says it is. Lin-Manuel Miranda received the President’s Merit Award.

Sex Attacks: no one wants to hear it, but until they find a way to splice male DNA and make us less aggressive, there will always been a problem.

More Sex Attacks: Ryan Seacrest: ““Recently, someone that worked as a wardrobe stylist for me nearly a decade ago at E! News, came forward with a complaint suggesting I behaved inappropriately toward her. If I made her feel anything but respected, I am truly sorry. I dispute these reckless allegations and I plan to cooperate with any corporate inquiries that may result. I treat all my colleagues with kindness, dignity, and understanding, as this is a principle that’s core to who I am. Throughout my 25 years in the entertainment industry, the majority of my co-workers have been women, and I’ve endeavored to foster a positive work environment of mutual respect and courtesy, as that’s how I believe it should be. I’m distraught that anyone or any situation would call that into question. I’m proud of my workplace reputation, and believe my track record will speak for itself. I’m an advocate for women. I will continue to support their voices.”

Trump: The one promise I was looking forward to was lower taxes, but instead they will be going up for New Yorkers.

What Men Want: From an Australian former prostitute who has slept with over 10K men: “feeling of being needed and wanted. Wanted badly by a horny woman. It is their ultimate fantasy after all.”It is vital, therefore that whatever sex acts you are doing you make look like you want him bad and are enjoying him so much (even if you aren’t)” She slept with 1000s of men to explain that???
