Tuesday – Mega Mezcla – Madison Square Garden – The radio station offers up a veritable who’s who of modern Latin American pop: Alex Sensation, Don Omar, Farruko, Yandel, Ozuna, De La Ghetto, J Alvarez, Cosculluela, Justin Quiles, and Jory Boy.
Tuesday – Saturday – Jackie Evancho – Cafe Carlyle – I’m not crazy about the album, but I do love the seventeen year old’s voice and performing at Trump’s inaugural while supporting her transgendered sister makes the girl all backstory.
Wednesday – Swet Shop Boys – Webster Hall – Pakistani American rappers suffering through Trump’s racist America. Just don’t rock the stubble.
Thursday, Saturday – Bon Jovi – Madison Square Garden – This House Is Not For Sale – Tour – Makegoods for this weeks missed gigs due to Jon’s laryngitis. I think a Jon unable to sing can only be an improvement.
Saturday – Carlos Vives – Radio City Music Hall – Latin pop swooner balladeer
