It is a short 80 minute set,  is only 15 songs (an Ariana Grande track he wrote, two 1Ds, and a Fleetwood Mac cover), in a busy week with Ed Sheeran in town as well, the Harry Styles concert on Thursday at Radio City Music Hall is as big as it gets. Plus, your only sighting of the rock  god till the summer of 2018, and that one is at the much larger MSG. If you can get in, by all means do so.

Monday – Little Steven & the Disciples of Soul, Steven Van Zandt – Gramercy Theatre – Or, what happens when you aren’t Bruce Springsteen.

Tuesday, Wednesday – Chance The Rapper – Forest Hills Stadium – The best tempered rapper of all time… still $250 for a selfie?

Tuesday – YoungBoy Never Broke Again – Gramercy theatre – How is this guy headlining anywhere? I’ve heard him on a verse or two but I guess he lives on Soundcloud.

Wednesday – Heaven 17 – Old synth duos from the 80s never die, they just grow old, fat, and keep on fighting that fascist groove thang.

Wednesday –   Rostam – MHOW – The former Vampire weekend does get the sound right.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday – Ed Sheeran, James Blunt – Barclay Center – James Blunt? Wow get there late.

Friday – Jerry Lee Lewis, Linda Gail Lewis – Not the last man standing, Little Richard is still around, but the last man still performing, even if all you get is half an hour. That’s his sister opening.

Saturday – Billy Joel – Madison Square Garden – has it been a month already.

Saturday – Marilyn Manson – Hammerstein Ballroom – I bet he regrets dumping Evan around now.
