I am a little loath to see James Taylor again, he was so great in 2015 (here) that even if he is as good, which he won’t be (I checked the setlist), he still won’t be as good. It won’t be open air, it won’t be too ten minutes from my home  and it won’t be a weekend and I’ll have to catch the train home. But, it will have Bonnie Raitt opening and it will have James and so Thursday at the Prudential: shower the people with love…

Monday – The Soft Parade – BB Kings – One of the greatest cover bands of all time, these Doors aficionados are flawless, they get Morrison and the boys, they can play it, and they can sing it. Not to be missed.

Friday – The 3rd Annual Steez Day Festival with Pro Era, 47, A$AP Mob – Playstation – Two things are stopping me from pulling the trigger here 1-The A$AP Mob didn’t thrill me at Governors Ball this year and 2 – xxxTentacion cancelled, though why they they didn’t replace him with Ski Mask The Slump God I do not know.

Saturday – Vans Warped Tour Presented By Journeys – Jones Beach – The who’s who of punk rock.

Saturday – Ruben Studdard – I don’t care what anybody says, Ruben is my American Idol.

Saturday – The Yardbirds – Highline Ballroom – Or at least what’s left of them.

Sunday – Raekwon – the Wild Tour – BB Kings – The other other Wu.
