Rihanna's Special Guest, Chris Brown
According to Vibe magazine, the Daily News (and many other sources which all seem to get it from the blog missinfo.tv) Rihanna and Chris Brown are back together, at least for a song, and may be for more.
Three years after his violent assault on his ex-girlfriend, Chris Brown will appear as a guest on the remix of Rihanna’s ‘Birthday Cake’. Reportedly, he will rap on one verse and sing on another one, and the track is coming out in a week. This is shocking and absurd.
Rihanna was probably already feeling guilty when she did not oppose the restraining order reduction last year, something typical of battered woman, and this was a bad sign. But she should be aware that this new move will not be taken well by the audience, since Brown has been the target of hatred comments and tweets during and after his performance at the Grammys. Very diplomatically, he responded this on his twitter account:
‘HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That’s the ultimate FUCK OFF!’
Yes, sure it only helps to remind us what an angry-out-of-control idiot he is, even though he deleted the tweet very soon after he sent it.
And there may be more than some collaboration on a single. Rumors continue to circulate that the two are hanging out again, despite Brown’s rep denying it.
According to TMZ and missinfo.tv, Brown was even at Rihanna’s birthday last Wednesday:
'In fact,Chris arrived at the party with Rihanna. And stayed. It was not a drive-by appearance. And the energy between the two did not appear purely platonic.'
I don’t know what is worst, all the seI-would-not-mind-if-you-beat-me-up girls acclaiming Brown at the Grammys, or Rihanna's proposition for more domestic violence approved by Def Jam.
However, I have just read an update:
‘Rihanna is allegedly being pressured to shelf the “Birthday Cake (Remix)” completely’, …so I am not sure what will happen.
