Comment: Forget sentiment and just think about business. Perhaps Box Sets shouldn’t be released during the last two weeks and first two weeks of a year, everything else should. There should be no downward turn in the music industry for Christmas and New Year. What you have is millions of bored to madness teenagers gagging for new music, easily accessible, inexpensive, available at their fingertips, and nobody feeding them. The business goes from 30,000 new songs a week to 5,000 new songs a week for no reason. This isn’t 1998, nobody is biking down to Tower on Christmas Day, it is easy to get to and much, much needed. As for the employees, pay em double, if they don’t wanna work that’s fine, some people will. Give it to the Muslims, it’ll keep their hands off their dirty bombs for a week. Must to avoid? Need you ask? Weezer. Otherwise, Noah Cyrus, Royce da 5’9″, Camilla (though that album title is like a giant warning sign)? Nope. Azealia Banks is the most anticipated of the week.
