Comment: So what are we excited about? Alyson told me the Buttertones sold out the Bootleg and based upon their garage rock classicist “Sadie’s A Sadist” I can see why, Aimee Mann’s January single was absolutely a goodie, the MAvericks are good for a coupla killa tracks an album, Kodak Black isthe talented LA rapper and Freddie Gibbs coulda been god a coupla years ago, Mastodon can do this metal stuff in their sleep, and Rodney Crowley is always worth a listen (just must he call it Americana?). Goldfrapp? A Flock Of Seagulls? The band that will not go away, Wire? I’m going with UK rapper most likely to crossover to the States for most anticipated album of the week.
