Comments: Let’s start at the bottom, the very thought of Jim O’Rourke, a gifted musician beyond a shadow of a doubt, covering “Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands” on the uber-tasteful  Blonde on Blonde Revisited makes me break out  in hives, and except for Steve Gunn attempting “Visions Of Johanna” the rest of the tribute sounds equally tedious. Speaking of shadow and least anticipated, let us add DJ Shadow to the mix. On the cusp, why is Thee Oh Sees dropping a liver on us? Both the Felice Brothers and The Avett Brothers in one week. Ugh. I didn’t like the new Maxwell song much at all, Magic! are back already? OK, none of them will do so album of the week is between Blood Orange and Iggy Azalea. I’m going with Iggy because I loved her on stage, loved the way they had to drag her away from taking selfies with young fans, loved  her first album. And really, the other Azealia might be better but she was horrible to the Ig.
