Amanda Shires – To The Sunset – As a frontwoman she is a great fiddler.

Dâm-Funk – Architecture II

Foxing – Nearer My God

Free Cake For Every Creature – The Bluest Star – I know Katie Bennett from “First Summer In The City” off one of 2016’s best albums Talking Quietly of Anything With You. The first single off her latest as gone instantaneously into my best singles of the year. They call it twee pop but it is more like bedsitland pop with better production – MOST ANTICIPATED OF THE WEEK

Iggy Azalea – Survive the Summer – I was talking to a black woman I know about about black men dating white women, she said that is unforgivable and Iggy wasn’t forgiven and got thoroughly trolled… unfortunate because she can be quite good though the first single is a bit rough.

Jim Lauderdale  -Time Flies

Jim Lauderdale – Jim Lauderdale and Roland White – Lost album recorded in 1979

Lucero –  Among the Ghosts

Mac Miller – Swimming – went to rehab, split on the first two singles off this one

Shemekia Copeland  – America’s Child

Third Eye Blind – Thanks For Everything

Various Artists – King Of The Road: A Tribute To Roger Miller –  Dolly Parton, Ringo Starr, Brad Paisley, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Merle Haggard (in one of his last recordings), Kacey Musgraves and Eric Church are on board.

YG – Stay Dangerous – Perhaps you only know “FDT” (an acronym for Fuck Donald Trump), released before he became President? Then learn more from YG -a great rapper, politics and bangerz fucking together.
