Comment: Let’s start with the least anticipated album of the week, Belle And Sebastian have released two out of three EPs that when brought together with a third EP will be How to Solve Our Human Problems (Parts 1 –  3), and to be entirely fair to both Belle and Sebastian, they both sucked. On to most anticipated, I am not a big Brandi Carlile fan so I’ll pass on her, Tyga manages to never live up to anticipation, he raps about what r.kelly does on video, sure I love Ryuichi Sakamoto, I loved Yellow Magic Orchestra back in the day, but… I’d need more time. So that leaves Superchunk and U.S. Girls. Both bands are too hip for my tastes, especially Supercharge who own Merge Records. However, so are all those popular women singer songwriters like Angel Olsen, they all drag me in hipness and dowdiness, and U.S. Girls is the exception so she is my most anticipated of the week.
