Six of Broadways favorites descended into Ridgefield Connecticut to offer the sleepy suburb a night of Stevie-preciation offering their spin on iconic songs. Performing a battalion of covers of the legends greatest hits it was a spectacular night of feel good music. Performers offered up their renditions of classics such as “Superstition,” “For Once in My Life,” “Sir Duke,” “If It’s Magic,” “You Are the Sunshine of My Life,” “As,” “Isn’t She Lovely,” “My Cherie Amour,” “Overjoyed,” “I Was Made to Love Her,” “All in Love is Fair,” , “Part Time Lover” was best hit of night to me and truthfully, I would have chosen some different songs to sing. Then again performing all the hits increased the enthusiasm making the show less ‘ordinary’.
Bringing the night to life were artists:
Sydney Morton(Memphis, Evita, American Psycho) Ben Fankhauser(Newsies, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) Paige Faure (Miss Saigon, Cinderella) Brittney Johnson (Les Miserables, Sunset Boulevard) Corey Mach (Kinky Boots, Godspell) Colton Ryan(Dear Evan Hansen)
