Let’s give Bruce Springsteen this much at least: given the opportunity to release his inner Bono, to go to that place where low culture reaches high, he didn’t falter.

What have these people accomplished exactly, beside making raunchy sex-charged pop music or happy-go-lucky to boring tunes? Is singing about sex being influential for a woman?
This isn’t Carrie’s fault, NBC gave her the role, what was she supposed to do? But she is neither the singer nor the actress for the role and she weighs it down so much it is painful to watch.
Four songs and not bad at all the guitar solo on the title track is a thing of deep beauty and the song keeps shifting gear from deep pop to sideslip jazz and back But the highlight is Marshall’s cover of Bobby Fuller’s “Never To Be Forgotten” two tracks later. On Spotify, so I guess even the great can’t fight technology – A-
