Street artist Jay Shells has taken over the streets of the city, posting these red signs displaying the quotes of famous rap songs, at strategic places. He apparently did the same thing in New York City – but needed a car to accomplish the same thing in LA

You read the most abhorrent and choking sentences in rap songs, why was this more offensive than anything else going on in this world? How is this worst than Eminem saying in ‘As The World Turns’: ‘All I wanted to do was rape the bitch and snatch her purse..’

But that isn’t where Killer Mike is at ALL THE TIME. On RAP Music, he is too hard, on stage he is something else jumping off the stage and spending the last two songs dancing and rhymin’ with us, his arms around a fan, going round and round and round.
It’s passionate and realistic, not like what rap is normally perceived as- money and fame and women.
