Taylor Swift Kicked Ian McKellen Out Of His Apartment?
I must admit it, I am always there for some good gossip about Taylor Swift! Ha, this girl and her annoying perfect world! Always teaming up with the rich and famous, hugging Kim Kardashian while watching Kanye West’s VMAs rant with that fake emotion on the face…
When he talked to Gay Star News two days ago, Sir Ian McKellen had this to say about the famous pop star when he was asked if he was part of Taylor Swift’s famous squad:
‘I’m not. When I was living in Peter Jackson’s apartment in New York, Taylor Swift bought it while I was there and I was thrown out before I wanted to leave! That hardly puts me in Taylor Swift’s team, does it? You look shocked.’
Shocked? I bet the interviewer looked shocked! How could she evict a… Sir? Couldn’t they find an arrangement? Did she even know about this or was McKellen a sort of random casualty of her real estate adventure? I can’t tell, but McKellen had his little vengeance:
‘She bought it, she had every right to – I was just lodging there for free! She did ask me to appear with Patrick Stewart at her show in LA, but I had something else to do that night.’
I bet he had something else to do! She evicted him then asked him to appear on stage? But I am totally confused about the whole thing. Last July, when McKellen was promoting his latest film ‘Mr.Holmes’, he stopped by Yahoo! and recited Swift’s hit ‘Bad Blood’, showing his love for the hit girl. Patrick Stewart did the same thing during a performance on NPR and Swift was so happy about it that she enthusiastically replied to his tweet when Stewart asked her if both men could join her squad: ‘You’ve made my day. You two are ULTIMATE Squad Goals.’
Had she forgotten about the eviction? And Stewart may have spoken too soon, as McKellen doesn’t consider himself as part of Swift’s little elite. nevertheless, he seems to be a genuine fan, who can still enjoy her songs despite the NY episode, but the fact he is talking about it tells me he still has some grudge toward Swift… At the end, this story is a win-win for McKellen and a total flop for Swift, she is the bitch who evicted Gandalf and he is the noble-minded gentleman who snubbed her all-star tour.
