Can the Flaming Lips top their weirdness? Sure they can, this new video proves it, it’s so bizarre and disturbing you may feel a little uncomfortable after watching it, but what else is new with them?

A large-eye-as-a-head astronaut rescues a baby with a man’s head (Justin Vernon’s head?), and meets a lot of naked people bleeding on the tracks or in the woods, on his way to his spaceship… before, he… oh I will let you discover the gruesome ending, that would kill the best part. It’s all glittery and bloody, it’s 'Christmas on Mars' filmed in Wayne Coyne’s backyard once again and his personal obsessions with brain matter, fetus and Pink Floyd are all covered – wasn’t a similar meat grinder in Pink Floyd’s ‘The Wall’?

Another weirdness is the release of this video for ‘Ashes in the Air’, a song they did about a year ago with Bon Iver for their ‘The Flaming Lips And Heady Fwends’ all-star collaboration, whereas they are about to release another album on April 16th. But may be this is announcing the real Terror to come.
