Concerts: Bromance came to life big time at MSG last night, when Luke brought his bros Brett Eldredge and Brett Young. I am not a fan of any of these guys, and I would claim after seeing them that I have never seen so much feigned happiness in my life. But they put on a good show and Brett Eldredge absolutely knows how to write a great song. Review should be here in a day or two. Grade: B

More Concerts: Panic! At The Disco tonight, David Cassidy Saturday, Dawes next week… I got a tix for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone plus full orchestra and Jason Isbell (it’s been two years since I last saw him).

Theatre: Speaking of next week, I am going to see “Sunset Blvd” next week. I saw it opening night at the Gershwin in the 90s and Billy Wilder came on stage. Yeah, you read that right.

The Russia Problem: Really, can anyone play this game. Attorney General Jeff Session met with Russian officials? So who leaked this? The CIA, FBI, disgruntled employee, Russians, or did someone overhear POTUS on his Android.

Old Music: Brett Eldredge hasn’t been on my radar till now. People ask why I go to shows of artists I don’t like: this is why. You never ever know. He isn’t great but he isn’t better and sometimes he is great. Both the new one “Something I’m Good At” and the oldie “Mean To Me” are aces in my book.

New Music: The Thursday blues, I’ve been going through stuff like the Dirty Projectors, Little Big Town, Future, and others, to make sure I hadn’t blown any of my reviews… so far I’ll stick with my first take.
