Tony Bennett, Getting Naked and Singin With The Kids
That Tony Bennett, he gets around. If you recall a bit ago he was sketching nude Lady Gaga. I gotta say that creeped me out more than I let on. There are some visions that simply make me want to gouge my eyes out with soup ladles and this is sure one of them.
Next victim? Carrie Underwood
Im not sure if he’s gotten her naked yet, but he must posses some insame old mad swag. The two will be performing at The Grammys. There, I said it. We have not mentioned the horrific award show until now and well the only reason I am is cuz WTF is Tony doing with Underwood!
Tony is up for three Grammys Recently, including Best Traditional Pop Vocal, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s), the album Duets II got some rave reviews.
The Wall Street Journal noted that the singer was "…constantly reaffirming his position as pop music's greatest living patriarch." The Wall Street Journal constantly reaffirms my loathing of the US financial markets but that’s another story. The Album was released for Bennetts 85th birthday, and includes performances by k.d. lang, Aretha Franklin, Natlie Cole, Willie Nelson, Norah Jones, Carrie Underwood, Lady Gaga, Amy Winehouse and others on songs originally recorded solo by Bennett throughout his career.
Now, a new DVD, Tony Bennett Duets II: The Great Performances is out with birthday wishes and other visual horrors, though I doubt he got them all naked.. then again you never know.
